Researches and develops a photonic network system aiming to surpass the functionality, capacity, and efficiency achieved by conventional physical layer resources.
Works to establish a network architecture that integrates optical packets and circuits. This laboratory currently verifies technological practicability utilizing its dedicated network test bed. To improve users’ convenience and network reliability, this laboratory is also developing autonomic mechanisms for network resources adjustment and network management
